Life Updates

Hello! It's been awhile hasn't it? Life has been both simulatenously busy and not so busy. I haven't really had any motivation to do anything creative outside of work (hint, this blog), but a lot has actually been happening!

First and foremost...

CHRIS AND I BOUGHT A HOUSE! Crazy! Exciting! We're both stressed and extremely excited and above all grateful. We've been looking for the last 6 months and well, house hunting is really emotionally draining. We've seen homes we really liked but something was off, or, we liked but didn't have our pre-approval yet. The last house we saw we went in open-minded but humble, because truth-be-told we thought it wouldn't be the one. As soon as we stepped in we fell in love. We put our offer in that day and found out the next day they accepted it! We're currently in Escrow and have been learning a lot about this process and have signed a lot, a lot, A LOT of paperwork, but we see the light at the end of the tunnel. We'll officially be moving in July 15th and I'm excited to share how we're going to decorate, etc!

Chris and I started a side project called We Feed Our Friends! So, this one's been put on the back burner a bit just because we've been put in the middle of house buying stuff. But, we had our dear friend Jessica come for dinner and drinks back in April and documented it all. We promise to have a video soon of our dinner adventure... Also, we're planning to invite more friends over once we settle into our new place. Let us know if you want to be part of the fun!

So we low-key have started a Kickball League. Few rounds of kickball, music, beers, and then pizza afterwards. Next one's June 29th if you want to join!
